Avis Bennett, 81, of Russell Springs, died Saturday, August 22, 2015 at his home. He was born July 24, 1934 in Russell County to the late Bryan & Zelda Miller Bennett. He was a farmer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Bennett and a sister, Hazel Loy.

Funeral service for Avis Bennett will be 1 PM. Wednesday, Augsut 26, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Richie Curtis & Bro. Herl D. Robertson officiating.
Visitation after 11 AM. Wednesday.
Interment in the Square Oak Cemetery. Special Music: Matt & Leah Franklin
