Arlis MacArthur Guffey, 71, of Louisville (formerly of Russell Co) died Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the Nortons Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville.
He was born June 10, 1944 in Russell County to the late William & Rittie Dykes Guffey.
Arlis was a Veteran of US Army who served as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne division. He owned and operated Valley Scale, LLC in Clarksville, Indiana, from 1977 to 2012.

Funeral service for Arlis MacArthur Guffey will be 1 PM. Sunday, November 6, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation after 6 PM. Saturday and 12 Noon on Sunday.
Burial in the Guffey Family Cemetery with full military honors by the Russell County Honor Guard.
