He was born on Monday, January 13 1936, in Liberty, Ky.

He is also survived by two special nephews, Billy Roy and Joe Emerson as well as a special niece Rhonda Meeks,1 granddaughter Cassie (Bryant) Gregory, great grandchildren, Lilly, Justin and Valerie, 1 great-grandchild, Easton Gregory, 4 step-grandchildren, Laura (Jason) Davidson, Lindsay (Taylor) Gibson, Dustin Gosser, Jared (Jacklyn) Gosser, 4 step-great grandchildren, Connor and London Davidson and Scout and Boone Gibson.
Argle was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who enjoyed his time with family as well as farming and gardening and drove a school bus for 30 years in the Casey County School System. Argle was an long-time fiddle player and enjoyed playing bluegrass and gospel music with his friends and served as fiddler for many well-known groups including Carl Story and the Rambling Mountaineers and Harold Austin and the First National Bluegrass. Argle attended Ono Community Church where he re-dedicated his life to the Lord. Besides his parents, Argle was preceded in death by all six of his siblings; two brothers; Delmer (Kathleen) Meeks and Chester (Lucy) Meeks. Four sisters; Marie (Elmer) Bernard, Opal (Elsie) Roy, Gladys (Elbert) Emerson, and Beatrice Meeks who passed away as a child.
Funeral services will be 5 PM EASTERN TIME Friday, September 03 2021 at Thomas Ridge Christian Church, Thomas Ridge Road, Dunnville, KY.
Visitation will be 2:30 - 5 PM EASTERN TIME Friday, September 03 2021 at Thomas Ridge Christian Church, Thomas Ridge Road, Dunnville, KY.
Interment will be in Thomas Ridge Cemetery, Dunnville, KY.
