She graduated from Harrodsburg High School in 1958 and Eastern Kentucky University in 1962. After teaching in Ohio and Kentucky Linda Lou retired after 35 years of teaching in the Cobb County Georgia school system. She was a devoted member of the Holy Name of Mary Catholic church. The cabin on the hill and her antique car were her pride and joy. In recent years Linda could be found mowing yards around town and touring Lebanon on her three-wheel scooter.
Linda Lou greatly enjoyed and deeply loved her special cousins in the area: Joyce Ann Spalding, Pat-Lucille Spalding, Sam-Brenda Spalding, Rob-Sue Ann Spalding, Mike-Rita Spalding, Mike-Mary Ann Dotson, Carl-Glenda Spalding, Tim-Rosie Spalding. Mark-Debbie Spalding

Funeral services will be held at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church,306 Calvary Church Rd, Lebanon, KY on Monday, April 2, 2018, 11:00AM. Internment will be at the church cemetery following the mass.
Visitation will be held at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church on Sunday, April 1, 2018, from 3:00-8:30 P.M. Prayers will be begin at 7:00PM
