America Eloise Dye, age 73, of Hodgenville, passed away, Thursday, March 24, 2016, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Handley Dye; a son, Eugene Bauer; her parents, James Henry and Frances Jane Montgomery Bishop and a brother, Frank Bishop.
She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Jane (Nolan) Leatherwood and a son, Ronald Bauer all of Columbus Georgia; two sisters, Linda (Charles) Hall of Tennessee and Joyce Bishop of Hodgenville; a brother, Charles (Sherry) Bishop of West Point; two grandchildren, Ashley Mae and Christopher (George); two great-grandchildren, Riley and Ashton.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Monday, March 28, 2016, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville, Pastor Donald Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will begin after 11 AM Monday at the funeral home.
