He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and loved his family. William was of the Church of God faith.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Louise Hogue Grider of Liberty; a daughter, Alecia Amezcua of Madison, Nebraska; his father, William Floyd Grider, Sr.; a sister, Linda (and the late Steve) Kidd of Gravel Switch; and brother, Charles (and MaryAnn) Grider of Elkhorn; several step-children; four grandchildren, Ariana, Brayden, Harley and Journey, and his previous wife, Joni Williams Grider.
William is predeceased by his mother, Dortha Rosa Coker Grider.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Hurt officiating. Burial will follow in Casey County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions of sympathy may be made to the funeral home to help the family offset funeral expenses.
