He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of 2nd Baptist Church in Greensburg. He was a United States Army Veteran.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers: Max and Eric Calhoun.
He is survived by his wife Tonya Woods Calhoun, one son: Mario Calhoun of Elizabethtown, three stepchildren: Matthew Antle and Latisha Spurling and her husband Brandon, of Campbellsville and Janie Patterson and her husband Tyler of Greensburg. He is also survived by three sisters and three brothers: Beverly Calhoun of Campbellsville, Dinah Calhoun of Louisville, Terry Calhoun Mitchell of Aurora, Indiana, Mark Calhoun of Georgetown, Cecil Calhoun of Louisville and Rev. Andre’ Calhoun and his wife Patricia of Summersville, four grandchildren and four step grandchildren, a special friend: Kimberly Buckman, plus a host of other relatives and friends.
