A Marion County man was arrested on multiple charges late Saturday night, June 23rd, after leading police on a chase that started in Taylor County and ended in Adair County. According to the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office the pursuit began after an automobile operated by 36 year old Chadwick Hagan of Loretto ran into the rear of another car on East Highway 68 in Taylor County. Reports say Hagan then left the scene, was located a short time later traveling west bound on Broadway in Campbellsville, refused to stop and led police on a pursuit that ended on Edmonton Road in Adair County after Hagan’s car collided with an Adair County Sheriff’s Office cruiser. Hagan was arrested on several charges including assault 1st degree on a police officer, wanton endangerment, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and fleeing or evading police. Hagan was lodged in the Taylor County Jail. The operator of the other car involved in the collision in Taylor County was not injured.
