On July 28th, 2019 at approximately 1:47 PM EST, Trooper Zach Scott received information of a subject cultivating marijuana in a residence located in the city limits of Dunnville on Dogwalk Street. Upon arrival Trooper Scott and Trooper Clint Bale observed marijuana growing in plain view, through a window of the residence. A search of the residence and out building resulted in Troopers locating 5 marijuana plants total. Nicholas Hall, age 23 of Dunnville, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and cultivating in marijuana (5 plants or more) 1st offense. Hall was lodged in the Casey County Jail.
On July 28th, 2019 at approximately 8:34 AM EST, Trooper Clint Bale responded to a residence 10 miles north of Greensburg on Summersville Coakley Rd in reference to an altercation between a female and her 48 year old son, Mark Lobb. Upon arrival, Trooper Bale located Lobb, in the back yard, arguing with a neighbor. Lobb appeared to be under the influence of drugs and was arrested being charged with possession of a controlled substance 1stdegree, 1st offense (methamphetamine) and was lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center.

On 7-25-19 at 1:34 a.m. in the morning Adair County 911 received a call of a possible auto collision with injuries. Adair County Deputy Josh Durbin was dispatched to the scene. Upon his arrival he found that a vehicle had overturned and at least two people had been ejected.
The investigation indicates that Chrystal Arsin, 40, of Columbia was traveling East on KY 206 (Liberty Rd) in a 1999 Ford F-150 when she dropped off right hand shoulder of highway. Arsin attempted to correct but was unable to, resulting in an over correction which caused the truck to overturn multiple times. Arsin and her passenger Amy Padgett, 19, of Columbia were ejected during the overturn . Both were not wearing a seat belt. Adair County EMS Responded to the scene and gave treatment before transferring them to TJ Health of Columbia. They where sent from there by air flight to University of Louisville. Adair County Sheriffs Office is continuing investigation. Trooper Zach Scott is investigating a single vehicle injury collision that occurred on July 25th, 2019 at approximately 9:21 PM CST, eight miles south of Russell Springs on KY HWY 379. Ellen Moore, age 62 of Jamestown, was operating a south bound 2005 Nissan when she struck a calf that had entered the roadway. Moore was wearing her seat belt and transported by EMS to the Russell County Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries. Trooper Scott was assisted at the scene by the Russell County Sheriff’s Department and Russell County EMS.
Trooper Jason Warinner is investigating a two vehicle fatal collision that occurred on Wednesday afternoon (July 24th) at approximately 1:47 PM CST, 1 mile west of Burkesville on HWY 90. Preliminary investigations indicate that 63 year old Roger Spivey of Celina Tn, was travelling west on KY 90 in a 1996 Dodge Ram. Spivey was attempting to make a left turn when he was struck on the driver side by a 2005 Harley Davidson being operated by 79 year old Leslie Thrasher of Burkesville, KY. Spivey, along with a passenger, 56 year old Teresa Spivey of Celina Tn, were both wearing a seatbelt and uninjured. Thrasher was wearing a helmet; he was transported to Cumberland County Hospital by EMS where he was pronounced deceased. Trooper Warinner was assisted at the scene by Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department, Burkesville Police Department, Cumberland County EMS, Burkesville and Marrowbone Fire Departments, Cumberland County Rescue, and Emergency Management.
On Wednesday evening July 24, Officers initiated a traffic stop on Fairground Street just before the intersection of Campbellsville Street. Brief search of the vehicle led to drug related charges as well as execution of an indictment warrant and various traffic violations. Brant Lane, 41, of Columbia was charged with a total of four traffic violations including possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in the vehicle. A passenger Jonathan Richard, 29, of Jamestown was taken into custody with an active indictment warrant from Russell Springs. Another passenger in the vehicle Amber Taylor, 21, of Russell Springs was found to be in possession of paraphernalia as well as 26 grams of methamphetamine and was taken into custody being charged with possession of drug paraphernalia; a misdemeanor and possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine 1st offense; a felony.
