The body of 29-year-old Jeremiah Childers of Cumberland was found Monday afternoon in a drainage ditch just east of Pumphouse Road.
Strunk said earlier this week, there was “no trauma, no signs of foul play” in the preliminary results, adding that there was no hint as to why he had passed away.
Toxicology results could take several weeks to come back.
It is unclear how long the body may have been in that area, but it may have been there for two or three days, According to Pulaski County Coroner Clyde Strunk.
The investigation is ongoing, with a spokesperson from the Somerset Police Department had no further information as of Tuesday afternoon.
