The Blue Raiders (3-0) are back in action after defeating Faulkner (Ga.) 26-14 last weekend at Blue Raider Stadium. Lindsey Wilson’s offense was able to garner 472 total yards, including 263 passing yards and 209 yards on the ground. The Blue Raider defense recorded 72 total tackles while limiting Faulkner to just 32 rushing yards.
Lindsey Wilson ranks sixth nationally in total pass offense with 804 total yards. Quarterback Cameron Dukes, ranks fifth nationally in total offense yards (840) while having a .584 completion- percentage. Five Blue Raiders average at least 25 receiving yards per game, led by Jay Gaudlock who ranks tenth nationally in total receiving yards with 259.
Jaylen Boyd leads LWC’s rushing attack while ranking 11th nationally in total rushing yards (296), after averaging 98.7 yards and 13 carries per game.
The Blue Raider defense ranks seventh in total sacks (9-1/2) and 13th in rushing defense per game by limiting LWC’s opponents to an average of just 86 yards.
Warner (0-2) returns home after a 35-20 loss to No. 16 Bethel (Tenn.) last Saturday. The Royals managed to accumulate 314 yards of total offense in the game, led by Javon Wilson with 142 rushing yards. On the season, Warner averages 148.5 rushing yards and 156 in the air. Wilson leads the team in rushing yards with 185 yards and Michael Young leads in passing yards with 236.
This marks the second match-up between the programs. In 2017, Lindsey Wilson defeated Warner 47-3 in Lakeland, Florida.
