• The following three co-defendants related to incidents in December: George Everet Thompson, 33, and Crystal Joy Thompson, 37, both of Edmonton, and Andrew Todd Edwards, 29, of Campbellsville, all charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense; possession of a controlled substance, first degree (methamphetamine); and possession of drug paraphernalia. The two Thompsons were also charged with endangering the welfare of a minor, and Edwards was also charged with being a persistent felony offender, first degree.
Kentucky State Police Trooper Jonathan Paull testified.
• Kevin Scott Gentry, 49, of Edmonton on two counts each of possessin of a handgun by a convicted felon and receiving stolen property, $500 or more but less than $10,000, as well as one count each of trafficking in a controlled substance, first degree (hydrocodone), 10 or more dosage units; and controlled-substance prescription not in original container, first offense, related to February incidents.
Metcalfe County Sheriff's Office Deputy Josh Neal testified.
• Justin Trent Moss, 20, of Edmonton on one count each of possession of a controlled substance, first degree (methamphetamine), and possession of marijuana related to November incidents.
Edmonton Police Department Officer Michael Hampton testified.
• Freddie Lee Vaughn, 55, of Edmonton on one count each of fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), first degree; unauthorized use of motor vehicle, first offense; operating a motor vehicle while license revoked or suspended for driving under the influence, first offense (aggravator-DUI); leaving the scene of an accident/failure to render aid or assistance; operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol which impairs one's driving ability, second offense (aggravator); possession of open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle; failure to produce insurance card; reckless driving; and being a persistent felony offender, first degree, related to February incidents.

• Marvin K. Harris, 42, of Glasgow on one count each of manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense; unlawful possession of methamphetamine precursor, first offense; and possession of drug paraphernalia related to January incidents.
Trooper Paull and KSP Trooper Robert Maxwell testified.
• Joey Lee Searcy, 40, of Campbellsville on one count each of manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense; assault, first degree, police officer; possession of a controlled substance, first degree (methamphetamine); fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), first degree; criminal mischief, first degree; possession of drug paraphernalia; failure of nonowner operator to maintain required insurance, first offense; and reckless driving related to February incidents.
MCSO Deputy Colby Romines testified.
– An indictment is a formal charge that represents only the prosecution’s side of the case and is not proof of guilt. All those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
