The Blue Raiders (10-0, 7-0 MSC) capped off their unbeaten regular season with their fourth shutout victory of the year, defeating Cumberlands (Ky.) 49-0.
Lindsey Wilson finished the regular season averaging 45.6 points per game, fourth best in the country, while also averaging 460 yards of total offense per game. Defensively the Blue Raiders have been stellar, only surrendering 7.5 points per game, the best in the country, while recording 33 sacks and 21 interceptions.
Cameron Dukes leads the offense 1,670 yards, averaging 208.8 per game with 19 touchdowns. Jaylen Boyd leads the run game with 913 rushing yards and nine touchdowns this season. On the receiving front, Joshua Lewis leads the team with 37 receptions for 593 yards and seven touchdowns.
On the defensive side, Luke Bowman leads the team with 56 total tackles averaging 5.6 tackles per game while Ben Kalu leads the team in sacks with 4.5. Robert Carter has recorded a team-high seven interceptions while a duo of Bowman and Brandon Fields has forced two fumbles.
As for the Bulldogs (8-3, 7-3 FC), they enter the game after defeating No. 16 Rocky Mountain (Mont.) 50-42 in double overtime.
Montana Western’s offense is led by junior quarterback Jon Jund with 2,925 passing yards and 31 touchdowns on the season. Senior running back Reese Neville leads the Bulldogs with 920 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns while senior receiver Nate Simkins leads all receivers with 1,106 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns on the year.
On defense, senior linebacker Joe Calcedo leads the team with 91 total tackles while sophomore defensive linemen Reese Artz has a team-high 5.5 sacks. Sophomore defensive back Kameron Rauser leads the team with two interceptions.
This will be the first time these two programs have faced each other.
