Cumberland fired a third-round score of 8-over par 296 to finish the conference tournament with a 19-over par 883. Cumberlands (Ky.) held steady and finished in second-place with a three-day total of 27-over par 891.
Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) posted the lowest round on Wednesday with a 3-over par 291 to finish third with an 895.
Ben Kendrick of Cumberlands took home medalist honors after shooting a 6-under par 66 on the final day. He bettered his previous two rounds by two strokes to finish at 14-under par 202. Lindsey Wilson's Callum Blinkhorn finished five strokes behind Kendrick with a 54-round score of 207. He shot 5-under 67 on the final day to finish runner-up.
Following the tournament, Kendrick earned his third-consecutive MSC Men's Golfer of the Year, while Blinkhorn was named the MSC Freshman of the Year.
Garret Daniel of Cumberland finished third overall for the second-straight conference championship and was the final player to finish under par with a 3-under par 213.
Finishing out the team standings was Georgetown (Ky.) in fourth with an 899 and Campbellsville (Ky.) was fifth overall at 911. Pikeville (Ky.) finished in sixth with a score of 945 and Shawnee State (Ohio) rounded out the field with a 953.
With the win, Cumberland earned the Mid-South's automatic bid into the NAIA Men's Golf National Championship next month in Silvis, Illinois.
