Trailing by 10 points with just 3:37 to play the Blue Raiders took over at their own 38-yard line. Cameron Dukes connected with Terrill Cole Jr. for 34 yards and then found Joshua Lewis for 25 yards to march the ball all the way to the Cougar four-yard line. A Saint Francis three and out gave Lindsey Wilson the ball back at their own 35-yard line. Facing a fourth and six, Dukes found Jaleel Warren over the middle for the first down to keep the Blue Raiders hopes alive. Dukes made use of the deep ball on the next play from scrimmage as he found Cole Jr. for 50 yards to the SFU one-yard line.
An illegal formation penalty pushed the Blue Raiders back five yards. On the next snap, Dukes scrambled his way into the end zone to give Lindsey Wilson a four-point lead after Jared Dougherty’s made PAT, his fourth of the game.
Robert Carter put the game away when he picked off Matt Crable’s pass with 7.9 seconds on the clock. LWC entered victory formation to run out the remaining time on the clock.

The matchups and game locations for all of the NAIA quarterfinals will be announced tonight after the conclusion of all the first round games.
