"I am incredibly saddened by Beth's passing," Lindsey Wilson athletics director Willis Pooler said. "She was a wonderful human being. She was selfless, always putting others before herself.
"She loved her family, friends, and church," Pooler added "She loved my family and helped take care of my children. She was such a very kind and loving soul. I am completely devastated. I will miss my friend tremendously. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time."
Boisvert began working in the athletics department as a student work-study and transition into her administrative role upon graduating from Lindsey Wilson in 2009.
In addition to her work with the athletics department, Boisvert assisted other departments on the campus during major events, including homecoming, graduation, Malvina Farkle Day, Founders' Day, the endowed scholarship luncheon, and move-in weekend.
"Beth has been a valuable member of the athletics department for the last 13 years," Lindsey Wilson President William T. Luckey, Jr. said. "She was a true professional who managed to earn the love and respect of all of our coaches.
"I will remember Beth as a selfless servant who would do anything for anybody," Luckey added. "She loved watching, cheering, inspiring, and babysitting so many of the children of our coaching staff and I suspect other children as well. It's impossible for me to hear her name without envisioning her smiling face."
While Boisvert loved Lindsey Wilson College and its mission, she loved the people she worked with even more. She was an extended family member for so many coaches and administrators on campus. She consistently babysat their children and four-legged family members while serving as a surrogate parent to so many.
Off-campus, Boisvert was an integral part of the Columbia-Adair County community. She was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she served as director of children's ministries.
Boisvert's passion for her church, Lindsey Wilson College, and her family and friends was evident and enduring.
