When Detectives knocked on the door and announced, Detectives noticed Mr. Tooley hiding something in his pants, grabbing items and then shut the Detectives out of view. Believing that Mr. Tooley was going to destroy evidence, they made entry. The renter of the residence gave consent to search. In the room where Tooley was seen, approximately over 5 grams of suspected crack cocaine, marijuana, various pills and suspected crystal meth was found. Detectives additionally found drug paraphernalia, a handgun and approximately $1,200.00 in cash.
20 year old Kia-Shawn Jamal Tooley was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st – cocaine enhanced by a firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia. Future charges will be pending testing of other drugs and pills. Mr. Tooley was transported to the Barren County Detention Center. The DTF was assisted by the Glasgow PD, the Barren County Sheriff’s Dept. and the Cave City Police Department K-9 Unit.
