At approximately 2:30 p.m. Deputy Ethan Pike & Deputy Evan Burton responded to 91 Hemlock Drive in Russell Springs after a report to the Russell County 911 Dispatch Center that two juveniles appeared to be under the influence in the front yard.
Information obtained during the initial investigation prompted Deputy Burton to obtain a Search Warrant for the house and property.
Subsequently, approximately 3 ½ ounces of Marijuana and drug paraphernalia items were found, leading to the arrest of Damion Anderson, 43, and Hannah Anderson, 18. Both were lodged in the Russell County Detention Center on charges of Unlawful Transactions with a Minor, Wanton Endangerment, Trafficking in Marijuana less than 8 ounces, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Additionally, one male juvenile was taken into custody and transported to the Russell County Hospital for treatment and observation. After being released from medical care, he was lodged in the Adair Youth Detention Center in Columbia. A second male was cited to appear in Russell Juvenile Court.
