Jamie Burton, age 40, of Nancy, Ky. was arrested and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree—over 2 grams of Methamphetamine while possessing a firearm. Burton is also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia for having in his possession several small zip-lock baggies, a glass smoking pipe and a set of digital scales.
Mitchell Blevins, age 44, of Somerset, Ky. is charged with Conspiracy to Traffic in a Controlled Substance 1st Degee—Methamphetamine.
The two were arrested on Maple Street in Russell Springs by Sheriff Clete McAninch, Deputy Mark Cromwell and Det. Joey Hoover and Russell Springs Police Officer Jeremy West after approximately 7 grams of “crystal meth” was found inside Blevins’ car during the investigation.
Both men were lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
