(Metcalfe County, KY February 18, 2019) Trooper Bobby Maxwell conducted an extensive sexual abuse investigation that resulted in the Metcalfe County Grand Jury returning an indictment on 41 year old Teddy Blakley of Edmonton for Rape 1st degree victim < 12, Sexual Abuse 1st degree victim U/12, Rape 1stdegree, and Sodomy 1st degree. Trooper Maxwell arrested Blakley at his residence on Society Hill Rd in Edmonton on February 15th, 2019 at approximately 3:45 PM CST. Blakley was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.

Burkesville, Ky. (February 15, 2019) On February 12th, 2019 Kentucky State Police Post 15 received a complaint from a Parolee in Cumberland County regarding her Probation Parole Officer, 33 year old Tyler Young of Albany KY.
Following a three day covert investigation Young was arrested this afternoon and charged with Sexual Abuse 1st degree and Official Misconduct 1st degree. Young was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail. This case remains under investigation by Detective Kenny Brown. The Adair County Fiscal Court Budget Committee will meet Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 3:45 P.M. CT in the basement of the Adair County Annex Building located at 424 Public Square, Suite 1, Columbia, KY 42728. The public is invited to attend.

According to Glasgow police, William Jackson of Glasgow was found hiding in the upstairs portion of a house on South Broadway in Glasgow and was charged with robbery in the first degree. It’s being alleged that he entered the “Circle K” quick stop in Glasgow just after 4 A.M. central time brandishing a handgun and then made off with a large amount of cigarettes and an undetermined amount of cash. Glasgow Police say a tip led to Jackson’s whereabouts.

Sincerely, James Comer Member of Congress Taylor County man arrested after search warrant was executed on vehicle in limits of Columbia.2/12/2019 On 3-8-19 at 8:46 pm the Adair County Sheriffs Office executed a search warrant on a 2005 Buick Regal on the 1000 bock of Campbellsville Street. The vehicle was owned and registered to a Ricky Barnett age 64 of Taylor County.
Barnett was charged with Possession of controlled substance 1st degree, Oxycodone and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail by Chief Deputy Justin Cross who was assisted by additional deputy’s and CPD Officer John Dial with K-9 gunner The following indictments were handed down by the Green County Grand Jury:
“Michael V. Ballard”, Lebanon, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia; “Troy G. Davis”, Greensburg, wanton endangerment 1st; “Derrick Harris Ford”, Greensburg, criminal possession of a forged instrument 2nd, being a persistent felony offender 1st; “William M. Hagan”, Greensburg, wanton endangerment 1st, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct 1st, criminal mischief 3rd, menacing; “Joshua J. Lehmkuhler”, Dayton TN., receiving stolen property; “Joseph Q. Darlene Franklin Campbell, who has spoken to us on this topic in the past, offered an exciting, revised presentation, adding fresh insight and new DNA results, bringing to life the ancient Melungeons, and more strongly connecting the present generations.
The Adair County Genealogical Society and the Adair County Public Library continue to bring speakers to the First Monday Night events in an effort to encourage and facilitate family history and genealogical research and understanding. The next First Monday Night meeting will be March 4th, with Estate and Probate research by Mike Watson.
