Mr. William Ralph "Tom Dooley" Wright, age 57 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Friday, May 13, 2016. He was born on April 2, 1959 in Lebanon, KY. Tom Dooley, along with his wife of 36 years Marie, and their sons established and operate Wright Family Farms. He was a well-respected and accomplished farmer, winning several local and national awards.
However, Tom's greatest accomplishment was his family. He dearly loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed riding his Harley.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Kaye Coyle.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Mealey Wright, of Lebanon, KY; three sons, William Wesley (Kim) Wright, Thomas Casey (Faith) Wright and Ralph Dooley (Sara Beth) Wright, all of Lebanon, KY; parents, Ralph and Margaret Wright, of Gravel Switch, KY; mother and father-in-law, Joseph and Patricia Mealey, of Bradfordsville, KY; brother, Bruce Wright, of Gravel Switch, KY; sisters, Vicki (Terry) Heinz and Frances (Durbin) Murphy, both of Gravel Switch, KY, Kim (Thad) Peterson, of Loretto, KY; in-laws, Peggy & Stuart Miles, of Prospect, KY, John & Paula Mealey, of Lebanon, KY, Joe & Barbara Mealey, of Suffolk, VA; six grandchildren, William Isaac, Wesley Owen, Ellie Kaye, Jake Dooley Lane Thomas and baby Wright due in October; special family friends, Domingo and Carmen Serrano and children. Also surviving are several dearly loved nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the Open Arms Community Church, located at 2205 Danville Highway. Interment to follow in Haysville Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
