He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Separate Baptist Church. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Army, August 1963-August 1965. He was a member of American Legion Post 124 Greensburg and James L Pruitt VFW Post 5813 Greensburg.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Bernadine Hardwick Robertson (August 18,2015) and one sister Annetta Pearl Calhoun.
He is survived by one son and his wife: Doug and Carolyn Robertson, three daughters and their spouses: Renea Wright and Matthew Snow, Jennifer and Steve Matney all of Greensburg and Annetta Raley of Lebanon, seven grandchildren: Amber Pegram, Breanna Robertson, Haley, Brice and Cade Matney, Dallon and Cody Raley, four great grandchildren: Livi, Braddock and Branston Pegram and Braelynn Patterson, two sisters: Lorene Barnett and Betty Ashbrook of Russell Springs and one brother: Charles “George” Robertson of Louisville.
Funeral services for Phillip Dale Robertson will be conducted 12 Noon Central Time Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Central Time Monday and after 7 a.m. Tuesday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg.

Interment: Liberty Separate Baptist Church Cemetery with Full Military Honors by Marion County Veteran’s Honor Guard
