Opal Mae Watson, age 79 of Liberty, KY passed away on Wednesday July 13, 2016, at the Casey County Hospital. Born September 18, 1936 in Kings Mountain, KY a daughter of the late Eard and Alice Napier Snow.
She was preceded in death by her spouse; Eulas Ray Watson, one son; Charles Ray Watson, one daughter; Donna Watson and two brothers; Donald and Gomer Snow.
Opal was a homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter; Judy Gail Kappes of Louisville, five sons; James Robert Watson of Liberty, Eulas Ray Watson Jr of Campbellsville, Larry Gene Watson of Kings Mountain, Johnny Darrell Watson of Lexington and Scottie Jermaine Watson of Hillsboro, OH, two step-daughters; Betty Sue Gilpin of Indianapolis, IN and Joyce Ross of Portland, OH, 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, three sisters; Lois Everett and Elvina Bishop both of Stanford and Myrtle Rexroat of Russell Springs and two brothers; Vernon and Ora Snow both of Waynesburg.
Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M .on Saturday July 16th, 2016 and after 9:00 A.M. on Sunday July 17th, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Sunday July 17th at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Leslie Bentley officiating. Burial will follow in K.P. Hall Cemetery.
