Ralph Lucas, 95, of Mt. Salem, passed away Nov. 23, 2015 at home. Born March. 11, 1920, in Mt. Salem, he was the son of the late James Walter and Loretta Estes Lucas.
He was a farmer and a member of Mt. Salem Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army and was a WWII Veteran.
He was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters: Ray, Jessie, Davie, Major, Stella, Holly, Carrie, Geneva, and Laura.
He is survived by his special friend, Gladys Diaz, and her sons, Ronald and Billy Corhn and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Bro. Kevin Pittman. Burial will be in Estes Cemetery with Military Rites by Caswell Saufley Post 18 of The American Legion. Visitation is from 10 AM to 2 PM Sunday.
Pallbearers will be Jake, Josh, Jordan and Jared Harrell, Steve Rasnick and Allen Murphy.
