Mrs. Streeval was a lifelong member of the Bloomington Brethren in Christ Church where she was a part of the Ladies Missionary Group. Versie loved to sing and the other residents at summit manor often requested her to sing hymns for them, she also loved cooking and camping.
Mrs. Streeval is survived by her children Joyce Denton (Alvin), Darlene Wray (Lindon), Loretta Turner (Billy), Charlie Streeval (Ruth Ann), Connie Reynolds (Paul), Edward Streeval and Annetta Burton (Eddie) all of Columbia; 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren; three sisters Jewell Harmon of Indiana, Freda Black of Indiana and Lois Burton of Tennessee; three half-sisters Deanie Bryant, Leoma Hadley and Martha Wheat all of Indiana; several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son J. R. Streeval (Joan), a granddaughter Linda Parker and a brother Willie Foster.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Bearwallow Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Bro. Tim Lewis, Bro. Ralph Foster and Bro. Tony Streeval will be officiating and pallbearers will be Jeff Streeval, Jerry Streeval, Terry Denton, Steve Turner, Marty Turner, Jonathan Reynolds, Rodney Reynolds and David Streeval.
