Margaret Dunn

MARGARET DUNN, 85 of the Knifley Road, Columbia, KY passed away suddenly Friday, July 15, 2016 at 2:43 PM from injuries received in an automobile accident on Dunbar Hill near Knifley, KY her sister Josephine Hubbard age 83 also died Friday as a result of injuries received in the same accident. 

She was born May 7, 1931 near Knifley, KY the daughter of the late Edward and Purnie Emma Cox Rice of Adair Co. KY. 

She was preceded in death by one son Kevin "Nator" Brockman in January 2016;
by one grandchild Amanda Vaughn and one brother Robert E. Lee Rice

Survived by two sons: 
Roger Burton and (Anita Durbin) of Columbia, KY
Danny Brockman of Columbia, KY 
Six daughters: 
Sharon Brockman Bates (Buddy) of Knifley, KY 
Sherry Brockman Hodges (Mike) of Bowling Green, KY 
Donna Brockman Loy (Timmy) of Knifley, KY 
Sandy Brockman Crawhorn (Rhea Baker) of Columbia, KY
Connie Brockman Ferguson (Mike) of Knifley, KY 
Tonya Dunn of Louisville, KY 
Two brothers: Wyman Douglas Rice and Joseph Earl Rice both of Lexington, KY 
One sister: Martha Roberta Crouch of Columbia, KY 
10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren survive also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends

Margaret was a member of the Plum Point Baptist Church, a retired sewing machine operator for Osh Kosh, a member of the Janice Holt Giles Society and the Adair Genealogy Society

A joint funeral service for Margaret Dunn and her sister Josephine Hubbard will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home 
Clergy officiating: Bro. Lewis Haynes
Interment in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery
The family request visitation after 3:00 PM on Monday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
