Glen Lee Wilson, 77 of Danville passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016. Born January 2, 1939, he was the son of the late Theodore and Corine Watts Wilson.

He was a member of Junction City First Baptist Church where he was a deacon and had served as Sunday School Director. He loved bass fishing, woodworking and playing pool. He was retired from Whirlpool after 26 years.

Glen is survived by his wife of 58 years, Vyvyan Rice Wilson; two daughters, Rhonda (Mike) Gilliam of Stanford and Lorrie (Scott) Wieland of Nicholasville; brother, Jerry (Bobbie) Wilson of Berea; two sisters, Wanda (Bud) Trayner and Linda (Gary) Byrd, both of Stanford; five grandchildren: Kris (Brittany) Gilliam, Heather (Travis) Cash, Seth Gilliam, Jessica (Todd) Simpson and Jared (Krista) Atwood; and six great grandchildren: Alex and Claire Gilliam, Aubrey and Sadie Cash, Chloe Simpson and Declan Atwood.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Brenda Wilson and Shirley Coomer and brother, Woody Wilson.

Services will be at 1 pm, Tuesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Bro. Choe Sergent with burial at Danville Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers are Kris Gilliam, Seth Gilliam, Jared Atwood, Todd Simpson, Travis Cash and David Coomer. Honorary pallbearers are the church deacons and members of his Sunday School Class.

Visitation is 5-8 pm, Monday.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to Junction City First Baptist Building Fund.
