Cordelia Curry and William Parker Goodin.
Gladys was a long-time member of Bear Wallow United Methodist Church where she served as Sunday School teacher, choir director, held various offices, and was a UNW member. A woman of faith and the heart of the McQuaide family, Gladys shaped their spirituality by her tireless Christian Example. She married Harry McQuaide on August 1, 1959, and was blessed with three children she dearly loved. In addition to raising their children, she was part owner of Goodin's Rest Home for many years.
Later, she was the store manager of Montgomery Ward and worked at H & R Block. She developed many friendships over the years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and crafts and used her skills to enrich the lives of those around her.
Gladys is survived by her three children: Ben (Sydney) McQuaide of Richmond, KY, Harriet (Neal) Gold of Columbia, KY, and Glenn (Mary Ann) McQuaide of Cane Valley. She adored her four grandchildren Sarah McQuaide, Lauren McQuaide, Jonathan Gold, and
Michael Gold. She is also survived by one sister, Bessie Curry, of Columbia, KY.
She leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. She is being joyfully welcomed to her heavenly home by her husband Harry; her parents; four sisters Clarice Holmes, Emma Goodin, Berth Goodin and Annie Goodin; and one brother Clarence Goodin
