Cyril Ray McCauley, age 93, of Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at The Village of Lebanon Nursing Home. She was born on June 5, 1922 in Marion County, Ky. She was a retired Marion County School teacher and a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by: Parents: Charles Martin and Mary Bentia Abell Spalding. First Husband: Robert Leo Ray. Second Husband: Robert L. McCauley. Brothers: Joe, Leo, Charles, and Paul . Sisters: Aline, Isabel, Anna Laura, and Elizabeth. Son-in-law: DeWayne McRay. Grandson: David Helm.
She is survived by: Son: Darrell Ray—Lebanon, KY. Daughters: Dianne and Wayne Buechlein—Paris, IL; Elaine and John Helm—Lebanon, KY; Mary Lou McRay—Springfield, KY. Grandchildren: Kelly (Steve) Rucker, Aaron Buechlein, Stuart McRay, Loren (Tyler) Caviness, and Clint McRay. Great-grandchildren: Blake and Matthew Tharp, Greyson and Dalton Rucker, and William D. Caviness to arrive in October.
A Funeral Mass for Cyril Ray McCauley will be held on Monday, May 30, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Augustine Catholic Church. Burial to follow in the St. Augustine Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Bosley Funeral Home. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday at Bosley Funeral Home; officiated by Deacon Joe Dant.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The Marion County Good Samaritan Fund or to the charity of choice in her memory
