Born September 21, 1933 in Casey County, KY, he is the son of the late Alfred and Mila Patton Pendleton. He was a mechanic for Griffin-Wesley Ford and a member of the New Testament Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Brent (and Tracy) Pendleton of Dunnville; two grandchildren, Breana and Abby; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Brenda Pendleton, who died November 5, 2015; nine brothers, Wilby Patton and America, Harvey, Roy, Delmer, Preston, Elbert , Marical, and Don Pendleton; and five sisters, Margie Cundiff, Virgie Lawhorn, Maxine Bates, Sara Carr, and Jewell Pendleton.
Graveside services are 1:00 P.M. Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Salem Cemetery with Bro. George Pierce officiating. Burial will follow service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses.
