He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Asberry Methodist Church. He was a United States Army Veteran. He worked as a transportation officer and was a branch manager for Lance Inc. Snack Foods.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Clark Currans. Three sons and two daughters in laws: Clark and DaVonna Marshall, Christopher and Tammy Marshall, and Chris Currans. Two daughters: Tonya Marshall and Stephanie Franklin. Two sisters: Anita Duncan and Linda Coyle. Seven Grandchildren: Joshua Thomas, Austin Thomas, Madison Marshall, Trey Marshall, Sarah Franklin, Clayton Franklin, and Emily House. Five Great-Grandchildren: Brooklyn Thomas, Riley Thomas, Kayden House, Khloe House, and Kyler House.
Funeral Services for Mr. Clarence Buster Currans will be conducted Saturday 1 p.m., Central Time at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Hayes Cemetery in the Ebenezer Community of Green County.
Visitation is requested from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Central Time, Friday November 29, 2019 at the funeral home.
