Barbara Louise Price, age 82, of Nancy, KY, departed this life on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at her home.
Barbara was born on July 22, 1933 in Ingle, KY to the late Estle and Audie (Roy) Beasley. She was a graduate of Nancy High School. Barbara was a secretary in Cincinnati for 36 years and after moving to Pulaski County in 1987 she continued to work as a secretary for many years. She met many friends thru these places of work and still stayed in touch with most of them. Barbara was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Herman Price of Nancy, whom she married in Indiana in 1954; a beloved son, Kenneth Price of Nancy; a beloved granddaughter, Tiffany Price of Somerset; three sisters-in-law, Marie Childers of Liberty, Marie Beasley of Somerset and Ghree York of Nancy; two brothers-in-law, J.P Wiles of Somerset and Jerry Searan of Nancy.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers; Phillip Beasley and Robert Beasley; two sisters, Patricia Searan and Betty Wiles; and two sisters-in-law, Hazel Beasley and Anna Brown.
Visitation will be on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will follow the visitation on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Murrell Crockett officiating. Burial will be at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Nancy.
Pallbearers will be Richard Beasley, Steven Wiles, Mike Beasley, Joey Wiles, Brian Abney and Steve Hughes. Honorary pallbearers will be Tee Phelps and Bill Jones.
