He was born August 4, 1931 in Russell County to the late Johnnie MIlton & Jewell Andrew Kearns. He was a automotive factory worker and a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Ovalene Stone, Dreuzella Cunningham, Suzie Darlene Stegal, Gladys Marlene Kearns

Funeral service for Arvis Eugene Kearns will be 10 AM. Monday, June 27, 2016 at the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Visitation after 6 PM. Sunday at Bernard Funeral Home and after 8:30 AM. Monday at the church.
Interment in the Otha Helm Cemetery.
The family requests memorials to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church.
