He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He was a truck driver and was a Veteran having served in the United States Army. Mr. Warf also loved to go fishing, loved to hunt, and enjoyed bluegrass music and old gospel hymns.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Kimberly K. and Richard Beswick of Indiana and Rhonda Medley of Louisville; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Eugene Keith and Penny Warf of Columbia and Garry Hutchinson of Louisville; four grandchildren: Erica Jones, Clinton Warf, Josh Warf, and Tanesha Smith; six great-grandchildren: Rilay, Kaylee, Braylee, Trenton, Shawn, and Mason; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Warf was also preceded in death by four brothers: J.C. Warf, Noel Warf, William Warf, Garnett Warf; four sisters and a half-sister: Cozetta Whitlock, Helen Thompson, Latoka Wilson, Clarisse Merritt, and Lena Brown.
The funeral services for Mr. Geneal K. Warf will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Central Time, Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Liletown Cemetery. Bro. Les Milby officiating.
Visitation is requested after 10:00 A.M., Central Time, Saturday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Liletown Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
