
She was born January 27, 1926, in Summer Shade, Kentucky, to the late Tom and Alice Moore Shirley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Taylor, one brother, Cleatus Shirley and one sister, Emma Jean Barlow.
She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church and was employed by Summit Manor Nursing Home for over 30 years.

Two sons – Danny Taylor of Columbia, Kevin (Lisa) Taylor of Somerset
Four daughters – Anna Nell (Freddy) Smith, Valenia (David) Johnson, Bonda Taylor all of Columbia, Rhonda Taylor of Bowling Green
Four brothers – Leanis Shirley of Glasgow, Wendell Shirley of Bowling Green, Clyde Shirley & Leon Shirley both of Summer Shade
Three sisters – Lou Nell Brown of Alvaton, Mable Taylor of Dayton, Ohio, Clotel Gibson of Bowling Green
Eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren
Loving God-children – Charles (Betty) Curry, Mark Curry, Roderick Curry, Jean Jones, Jada Jones
