On Thursday, July 28th at approx. 05:20 AM officers of the Glasgow Police Department responded to the intersection of KY HWY 90, and the Veterans outer loop in reference to a 3 vehicle collision with injuries. Upon arrival of Officers it was determined that a 2002 Ford Escape was traveling South on Veterans Outer Loop when the operator of the vehicle, Kim Wheat, 35, of Glasgow failed to stop at the Red light. Ms. Wheat’s vehicle then entered the intersection striking a 2007 Toyota Rave driven by Mitzi Eudy, 57, of Glasgow, which was traveling East on KY HWY 90. The impact caused Ms. Eudy’s vehicle to then strike a 1995 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup driven by Jetron Robertson, 64, of Bowling Green which was in the North Bound Turning Lane of Veterans Outer Loop. Both Ms. Wheat, and Ms. Eudy were transported to T J Samson Hospital by Barren-Metcalfe EMS, and treated for their injuries. Mr. Robertson reported no injuries at the time of the collision. All subjects involved were wearing their seat belts at the time of the collision. Officer Joey Judd investigated the collision, and was assisted at the scene by Barren-Metcalfe EMS, and the Glasgow Fire Department.
