- Please remember if you are a resident of the City, you will have to turn your ballot over on the back for the City Races.
- In addition, if you choose to vote a straight party, you will still need to vote your non-partisan races.
- Voters please remember to bring proof of identification with you to vote, even though an election officer can confirm the identity of a voter by personal acquaintance, the election officer may not be able to identify you; therefore, please be prepared to show identification by the following ways pursuant to KRS 117.227
- Personal acquaintance with an election officer
- Driver’s License ( does not have to be a Kentucky issued DL)
- Social Security Card
- Credit Card
- Other ID, any ID card with picture and signature of voter; any Kentucky state government-issued ID card; and any United States government –issued ID card.
- Remember absentee machines are opened for those qualifying to vote before election day,
- Person who due to age, disability, or illness and will be unable to go to the polls on election day
- Voter who will be outside the county on election day
- Student who temporarily resides outside the county in which he/she is registered who will be out of the county on election day
- Voter or spouse of voter who has surgery scheduled that will require hospitalization on election day
- Precinct Election Officer serving a precinct other than that in which he/she is registered or an Alternate Precinct Election Officer
- Member or any staff of the County Board of Elections; Any deputy county clerk
- A woman in her last trimester of pregnancy
- Voter who is a member of the armed forces or a dependent of a member of the armed forces who will be out of the county on election day.
- Voter who is a citizen residing overseas and will be out of the county on election day
- Please remember if you have requested a mail-out absentee ballot the application must be mailed and received in our office by 4:00 p.m. CST on October 30th, 2018 for us to be able to mail you the ballot.
