After investigation it was found that a employee of Taylor County RECC John Edwards was at the residence of Patrick Stotts completing a work order when Stotts came out and fired a shot in the air from a shotgun. An additional shot was fired in the direction of Edwards. Stotts then went toward Edwards and struck him with barrel of gun and physical altercation ensued.
Stotts was arrested by Sheriff Brockman and lodged in the Adair County Jail on charges of Wanton Endangerment 1st degree, Menacing, and Assault.
